The Dream
The Dream – November 1, 2026
On November 1, 2026, I awoke from a dream and had to write as many details down as fast as possible. The dream was as real as the nose on my face. Every detail was vivid, every sensation unmistakable. I could clearly see people’s faces, recognize their expressions, and hear their voices. I could taste, smell, and even feel the touch of another person’s hand. I especially remember the physical sensation of the young thug bumping into me. It was so real that I could almost believe I was physically there.
I could feel the gentle breeze brushing against my face and hear the rustling of leaves as the wind moved through the trees. Every sight, sound, smell, and touch seemed as natural as if I were wide awake and experiencing it all firsthand.
But that’s how my dreams have always been. I don’t just dream, I experience my dreams. They are extraordinarily vivid, intensely realistic, and filled with details that linger long after I awaken.
For me, dreams aren’t simply images that pass through my sleeping mind. They are experiences that feel every bit as real as life itself.
Identical Twins in Matching Dark Suits
As I stood in line waiting to receive provisions and pay for electricity, I encountered two Black men who were identical twins. Both were striking in appearance, dressed impeccably in handsome black and light-gray suits. Their heads were completely bald, and they carried themselves with an unmistakable air of confidence, authority, and discipline.
Somehow, I knew they belonged to an elite military organization, although I couldn’t identify which one. There was something mysterious about their presence, something that made them stand out from everyone else waiting in line.
As the twins approached the entrance, a soldier stopped them and demanded to see their “papers.” One twin, noticeably bolder and more assertive than his brother, responded with something I couldn’t quite make out. Whatever he said appeared to carry considerable weight because, after a brief exchange, the soldier allowed both men to pass through the entrance.
I watched the encounter with curiosity. Who were these men? What elite military organization did they represent? And what had the more outspoken twin said that convinced the soldier to let them through? Their presence was unmistakable, but their identities remained a mystery.
Black Young Thug Wannabe
As I made my way through the crowd toward a turnstile gate, I encountered a young Black man hanging around a group of individuals who appeared to embrace a thuggish lifestyle. His behavior was rough, disrespectful, and unnecessarily aggressive.
While we struggled to make our way through the turnstile, he bumped into me. I turned to him and asked why he was behaving so badly. His response caught me by surprise. He explained that he desperately needed to get back to his young daughter. Suddenly, I began to see something beyond his tough exterior. Beneath his aggressive behavior was a father who simply wanted to be reunited with his little girl. I reassured him that his daughter was fine because Jesus Christ was watching over her and taking care of her. His demeanor softened slightly, but his heart remained focused on one thing. He just wanted his little girl.
I began sharing the love of Jesus Christ with him, explaining that regardless of what happened around us, there was hope beyond our present circumstances. I told him that through accepting Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, he could receive the promise of eternal life and the hope of being reunited with his daughter for eternity. For a brief moment, the young man’s hardened exterior seemed to give way to the love and concern he carried for his child. He wasn’t simply a young man acting tough. He was a father who loved his daughter and desperately wanted to be with her.
Before I could say anything more, the movement of the crowd separated us, and I lost sight of him. Our encounter was brief, but it left a lasting impression on me. What appears to be anger, rebellion, or aggression on the outside conceals a heart filled with fear, pain, and love. And sometimes, all it takes is a moment of compassion and the message of Jesus Christ to reach beneath that hardened exterior.
My Husband and Me
Before I knew it, I was back home. My husband was overwhelmed and deeply troubled by a difficult decision concerning his job. Someone had presented him with two choices: permanently relocate to his job site without me or apply for another position that would allow us to remain together. Neither option seemed simple, and the uncertainty weighed heavily on him.
Meanwhile, I was sick in bed, physically weak, and struggling to move around. Because of my condition and the circumstances surrounding my husband’s employment, I reached out to several fellow Christians for prayer and spiritual support. Thankfully, they came to our home and began praying with us, seeking God’s wisdom and direction. However, something troubling began to unfold.
One of the Christian women took it upon herself to work on my husband’s employment information. At first, it appeared that she wanted to help. But as she continued, I realized that her actions were leading us in a direction neither my husband nor I wanted to go. It was almost as though she had taken control of a decision that belonged to my husband and was attempting to redirect him toward a future he had never chosen.
My husband sat on the floor beside my side of the bed, visibly upset and increasingly uncomfortable with what was happening. The woman began completing paperwork that neither of us recognized. When my husband questioned her about the documents, she refused to show him what she was writing. Instead, she insisted that the paperwork was required. Required by whom? And for what purpose? Something simply wasn’t right.
My husband became increasingly distressed. He confided in me that the woman’s behavior made him extremely uncomfortable. He felt strongly that what she was doing did not align with God’s will for him, for me, or for our future together.
I shared his concerns. We had asked for prayer, wisdom, and godly guidance, not for someone to take control of our circumstances or make decisions on our behalf. Yet, amid the confusion and uncertainty, something beautiful continued to happen.
Several of our Christian neighbors remained faithful in prayer. They continued seeking the Lord on our behalf, asking Him to reveal His will, provide clear direction, and guide our steps into the future He had prepared for us. Even as questions surrounded my husband’s employment and my physical condition, prayer remained our source of strength.
This part of my dream reminded me of the importance of spiritual discernment. Not everyone who offers assistance necessarily understands God’s direction for our lives. We must seek His wisdom, test what others tell us, and remain sensitive to the prompting of the Holy Spirit.
As Proverbs 3:5–6 reminds us, we must trust in the Lord with all our hearts, rather than depend solely on our own understanding. When we acknowledge Him in all our ways, He will direct our paths. And that was precisely what my husband and I needed, not man’s direction, but God’s direction. 🙏🏾
The Ominous Skies
Dark clouds. Electrical sparks. An eerie atmosphere that seemed to signal something extraordinary was about to happen.
Several of my neighbors and I stood outside, gazing upward at the heavens. The skies were unlike anything I had ever witnessed. Patches of breathtakingly beautiful, clear blue sky appeared between massive, dark, threatening clouds. Brilliant flashes of electrical sparks flickered and danced throughout the darkness, illuminating the clouds with an unsettling intensity.
The contrast was astonishing. One moment, I could see the peaceful beauty of the blue heavens; the next, ominous clouds seemed to swallow the light. Something was happening. Something extraordinary. And deep within my spirit, I sensed that something ominous, perhaps even sinister, was about to unfold.
As I watched the strange activity overhead, I began to pray. I called upon the Holy Spirit, asking for wisdom, clarity, and direction. I wanted to understand what I was witnessing and what the Lord wanted me to do. I could sense the fear growing among the people standing around me. They appeared frightened and uncertain, perhaps wondering what would happen next. But strangely enough, I wasn’t afraid. Not even a little. Instead, I felt an overwhelming awareness of the Lord’s presence.
While others looked toward the heavens with fear and uncertainty, I looked upward with anticipation and an unshakable sense of peace. Deep within my spirit, I believed I knew what was happening. The Lord was near. Jesus Christ was coming. And His arrival was imminent. The darkness in the skies did not frighten me because I knew Who held authority over the heavens and the earth. Whatever was about to happen, I believed that my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, was in control.
As I continued praying, my heart remained focused on Him. The ominous clouds, the brilliant electrical flashes, and the strange atmosphere surrounding us seemed to fade in significance compared to the overwhelming assurance I felt in my spirit. I did not know what would happen next, but I knew in Whom I had placed my trust. And in that moment, that was enough.
“When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” — Luke 21:28 (NIV)
