In light of the recent tragedies that have happened in the United States and abroad, we must not lose our humanity. Not all police officers are murderers. Not all Muslims are terrorists. Not all Americans are racists. Of course, there are those who are bad. But as Mahatma Gandhi once said,

“You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty.”

Let’s lead by example and hold on to our humanity. We will get through this together.
